It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Goodness help me, I love Christmas… although all my preparations are very late this year, and by the way where has this year gone with Christmas less than a couple of weeks away? In my mind we have only just finished summer, not heading rapidly towards Christmas Eve!

Having said that, I love everything about the festive season, singing carols, festive music, wrapping gifts big or small, and all the socialising with family and friends too!

There is something romantic about the cosiness of these winter nights, a house full of tealights and candles, not forgetting the aroma of comforting food this time of year.

However, there is no getting away from it, this year the financial burden of celebrating the forthcoming festive season looms hard. The pressure to host guests, select desirable gifts and furnish the house fit for a king, seems ever more stressful when things are tight.

There are, however, ideas out there to at least help cut the cost of entertaining, and best of all it doesn’t look like you’ve scrimped on supper! Take a look at these novel food ideas for some inexpensive Christmas entertaining HERE.

Never forget though, it is really the presence of family and friends that make this season special, not the giving of lavish gifts to make this time enjoyable, never more so than after these recent years of absence.

Long live the festive season I say…we bloody well deserve the party!!!

News from HQ

Firstly, and most importantly our Christmas returns policy extends until the 31st of January 2023 with gifts purchased between 1st Dec until 31st Dec 2022. However, we do not accept returns on earrings (for hygiene reasons) or sale items unless they are faulty.

Our returns policy terms still apply, see HERE for conditions.

A little bit about us

I cannot lie, this year has been a bit of a struggle. The lack of income from fewer sales, and a little bit of a lack of motivation after the struggle of the past few years has been a bit of a blow to the growth of Blue & Grey in 2022.

All this said it is with a positive heart that we move on into 2023, there may be fewer items on our shelves, but rest assured every item is of the highest quality, with attention to detail and every supplier we stock shares our vision and ethos.

So, from me and Blue & Grey, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I look forward to 2023 and all the positivity a new year can bring.
